Newsletters

The Whole Picture Newsletter

I manage the production and delegation of Richmond Window Corp.’s (RWC) internal newsletter titled The Whole Picture newsletter. This publication is distributed to over 80 employees by email linked to an intranet hosted by Renewal by Andersen. As of January 2022, this newsletter has a 64% open rate and a 9% click rate.

REcruitment

  • RWCareers brand for recruitment

Richmond Window Corp.’s (RWC) previous recruitment had bulky messaging with dated branding. The branding made the company appear antiquated — this is how RWCareers was born. The new branding includes a logo, contemporary design, and clear and impactful messaging in print and digital efforts.

  • Indeed profile redesign

Richmond Window Corp.’s (RWC) indeed site was inconsistent and did not properly portray the company. In order to battle this, I redesigned the content and graphics for the RWC Indeed profile. The new design emphasizes the company’s accomplishments, long-standing reputation, and its role in the community.

  • Company accolades

As part of my role at RWC, I manage the company’s participation in industry accolades. Through my efforts, the company won the awards above and more including Best Window Company by RHome Magazine, and Super Service Award by Angi. These awards are essential to establish RWC as a company for premiere talent.

Programs

Core Value Hero

One evening, while I was trying to brainstorm ways in increase company morale, and help employees remember our Core Values, I created the Core Value Hero program. The Core Value Hero program awards employees who live by one of RWC’s Core Values: Install Integrity, Embody Respect, Achieve Ambition, and Champion Care.

Here is how the program works:

  • Managers nominate an employee from their department.

  • The Marketing Dept. chooses a winner each month.

  • Each winner has an appreciation video created around them where there manager speaks about how the employee.

  • The video is distributed across the company, and social media

  • Each winner receives:

    • $50 Amex gift card

    • Custom t-shirt including the logo I created to the right

    • Personalized and framed certificate signed by the employee’s manager and company CEO

VCU INternal Medicine Faculty Development Committee

While working at VCU Health, I was nominated to participate in Internal Medicine’s Faculty Development Committee. The purpose of this committee was to increase medical research efforts, promote tenure, and give physicians the tools they need to develop professionally.

As the only non-physician on the committee, my role included producing creative ways for physicians to communicate (example, flash dating session with personalized baseball cards to collect information on other faculty members), maintain the department’s intranet, and plan events for faculty members. I served on this committee for two years.
